How to Get Here

Construction Update - Due to construction on I-35, normal exits are currently closed. When coming from the Twin Cities on I-35, for easier access avoiding construction, take the Midway Road exit off of I-35. Turn right onto Midway Road and continue on to County Highway 3/Becks Road until you hit Commonwealth Avenue (Minnesota 23). Take a left onto Commonwealth and continue on to Grand Avenue. Take a right onto Riverside Drive and continue until Spring St. to the Marina.

Alternate Scenic Routes - From the Twin Cities, it’s a two-hour drive on I-35 to Carlton, and another 20 minutes into Duluth. Take the scenic route from Carlton along Minnesota 210, which follows the St. Louis River and segues into Minnesota 23 (Grand Avenue); this is the Rushing Rapids drive, a Minnesota Scenic Byway. For even more scenery, get off I-35 at Banning State Park and follow Minnesota 23 all the way into Duluth; that’s another Minnesota Scenic Byway, also known as Veterans Evergreen Memorial Highway.

From either direction look for our sign and turn in towards the river approximately 1/3 mile off of Grand Avenue in the Riverside Community.
